Satellites know no boundaries. Tooway Internet is available everywhere throughout Europe and the Welsh government has recognised this as a solution to the big Broadband black spots in Wales. The Welsh Assembly has now launched a £2m support scheme to bring broadband to Welsh broadband blank spots. The Broadband Support Scheme (BSS) is aimed at individuals, small and medium businesses, communities and 3rd sector organisations who can't currently access broadband.

  3. Are you unable to get a reliable 512kbps connection from ADSL/cable/mobile?
    If you answered yes to all three, congratulations! You are probably eligible to apply for the BSS grant.

If eligible, the scheme will fund costs of up to £1000 covering purchase, installation and setup of your satellite broadband solution. If you don't already have broadband in your area or you consistently get a broadband download speed of less than 512Kbps, you may well be eligible NOW. Provided you meet the criteria and your application is approved, funding will be made available to you directly from the Welsh Assembly for the upfront cost (hardware and installation) up to a maximum £1000 per application. NB : monthly subscriptions will not be funded under the scheme.
